Pianist Ratko Delorko has performed in venues all over the world, such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Beijing Concert Hall, and Cairo Opera House. Geoff Gascoyne

Geoff Gascoyne has been a professional bass player for 30 years. He has played with too many names to mention but here are just a few; Georgie Fame, Van Morrison, Benny Golson, Bill Bruford, Guy Barker, Eartha Kitt and of course Jamie Cullum who he was musical director and chief arranger for 8 years.

He has recorded 11 CDs as a band leader to date and has arranged music for countless others as well as produced albums for Jacqui Dankworth, Josh Kyle and Jamie Cullum. Geoff has composed and arranged music for the famous library label KPM displaying a wide collection of jazz styles ranging from 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s jazz, big band, orchestral, Christmas and 1970s fusion.

Geoff is also a keen educator and is Head of Bass at London School of Contemporary Music and a professor at the Guildhall School of Music. LISTEN


Doug Martin

A native of Windsor, Ontario, Doug first began composing while enrolled in the jazz program at Toronto’s Humber College, being drawn to the distinctive writing styles of Wayne Shorter, Charles Mingus and Thelonious Monk.

As a performer, Doug has played at numerous festivals in both countries. In 2014 he performed for the first time at the Festival Internacional Jazz Plaza in Havana, Cuba and has done so several times since.

As a leader, he has released four albums. His music has received critical acclaim in such competitions as the UK Songwriting Contest (semi-finalist) and the West Coast Songwriters Competition (honourable mention). Tracks from his albums have received airplay worldwide on the internet, as well as terrestrial radio in the US, Europe and Canada. Presently, Doug lives in the Ottawa area where he teaches, composes and leads several small jazz ensembles. LISTEN
